For the seventh year in a row, RISE & SET was honored to produce Education Reform Now’s Take ‘Em to School Poker Tournament. This annual event raises funds for the organizations’ work to advance high-quality public education for all students. Held at New York City’s Gotham Hall, we welcomed more than 300 guests, including over 200 poker players. World Poker Tour analyst & Poker pro Tony Dunst emceed the tournament and special guest players included: World Poker Tour TV Hosts Vince Van Patten and Lynn Gilmartin; sports icons Alex Kovalev, Charles Oakley, John Starks, Charles Smith, Lorenzo Mauldin, and Allan Houston; co-creator of Billions and co-writer of Rounders, Brian Koppelman; actor and writer Malik Yoba; and several poker pros including Erik Seidel, Jonathan Little and Vanessa Selbst.

Each guest received a special swag bag and players competed for superior prizes such as VIP trips, golf outings, and more. In addition, RISE & SET coordinated on-site guest experiences including a golf simulator, casino games, premium food & drink, and more.
